I think this signature is "normal".
The background color, orange, doesn't look very good.
The lines over the render doesn't look good to, they deflect.
The render looks a bit transparent, thats not good.
The font is boring, add effects to it

The sig needs to be sharpened, it's damn blurry, especially the render.
Otherwise, I have to agree with Fireballs critics ( just don't add effects to the font
)
