haste PS mal neu gestartet? wenn ja kann es evtl auch daran liegen das du zu schnell nach beendigung einer funktion auf das auswahl menu klickst.
Bsp:
wenn ich was unter psd abspeichere und dann gleich wieder auf datei gehe (oder wies da heisst^^) und nochmals daselbe als png speichern will is auch alles so grau unterlegt, unanklickbar. dann nochmals datrei drücken und schon isses alles (die schriften) wieder schwarz

Ich glaub ich weiß, was du meinst.
Nimm stattdessen Auswahl -> Auswahl verändern -> Rand
dann hast du ja schon einen 1px Rand als Beispiel. Wenn du trotzdem die Auswahl so wie in den Vorgängerversionen verkleinern möchtest, stelle zuerst einen Rand von z.B. 3px ein, gehe anschließend auf:
Auswahl -> Auswahl umkehren
Wenn du nur nen Boarder machen willst, dann mach doch einfach STRG + A, und dann in die Auswahl rechtsklick -> Kontur füllen. Dann auf Innen und ne Farbe nehmen und schon ist der Rand da.
