Wie ich schon vor einige Tagen berichtet habe, wollte Google Groupon uebernehmen.
Laut Medienberichten allerdings ist Google bei Groupon abgeblitzt wurden.
Google bot dem Konzern 5,3 Mrd US Dollar fuer die Uebernahme, doch die Gespraeche verliefen nicht wie geplant.
Zurzeit hat Groupon etwa 35 Millionen User und nimm jaehrlich 1Mrd US Dollar ein. Kein Wunder also, dass Groupon die 5,3 Mrd als zu wenig erachtet.

Irgendwie glaube ich mehr, dass Google mal auf ein Unternehmen gestossen ist, dass doch mehr will.
