Durch das Rastern von Textebenen wird die Schirft, die bis dahin als Vektorschrift vorliegt, zu Pixeln oder Bildpunkten verwandelt. Anschließend lässt sich die gerasterte Ebene nicht mehr editieren. Also der Text ist nicht mehr editierbar.
edit: Da es nun kein Vektor mehr ist, lässt sich der Text auch nicht mehr verlustfrei skalieren. Wie alle Pixelgrafiken.
So nach ein wenig gegoogle hier und da:
Rechtsklick auf die Textebene und dann "Textinformationen verwerfen". Dann wandelt GIMP den Text auch zu einer Punktgrafik um. Sieht man an dem Tooltipp ja auch. ^^
